+.4R in ES. SFP. Took a quick scalp off of news in PM session

+.5R in GC. SFP. Clear trade that I should’ve been full size. This was a mistake. Have belief in your system and execute it properly.

-1.3 in GC. Undefined. Tilt trade due to getting out of previous too early. Added to a loser. Stopped out into inverse level. Very bad.

+.6R in GC. Inverse. Good entry with proper size. Got stopped out on last piece in poor spot. Need to start working on taking 1R profits when it hovers around there.

-2R in SI. Worst trade of the month. Was long before close. Saw seller at close and flipped to max short. Seller immediately disappeared and I refused to take loss.
Unacceptable.

Overall bad day where I really felt tilt after SI trade which carried over into a big mistake on a PM trade

AM: +1.6R in SI. Inverse. Not a major inverse level but has been consistently weak past few days. Refused to break down so exit

Missed 2 SFP’s as they would’ve been entered overnight. Both 1R winners. Don’t think I can do anything about that.

Overall, great patience on a day when there weren’t any A+ opportunities.

-.5R in HG. Inverse. Entry at 8pm. Was still sitting at entry by 10pm, should just get out flat

-.4R in SI. Undefined. Saw that SI was weaker than GC, no good reason to buy

0 in GC. Inverse. This was biggest mistake of day as I was too preoccupied with subpar trades. Came to my entry line, didn’t get in proper size and got out flat. Hit my 2R target

-1.1R in ZS. Undefined. Awful. No reason to even watch this during the day, neve mind take a nonsense trade like this

Lots of mistakes these past 2 days. Not being patient enough waiting for my A+ trades and avoiding all the rest.

Took way too many trades Sunday night and put myself in a hole rather than taking easy profit and starting the week in the green.

-.7R in HG. Knew I was wrong immediately on entry and didn’t hit the bid when I should’ve. This is a great example of me rather being right then making money and it cost me unnecessarily.

-.8R in GC. Inverse. Wasn’t focused and placed stop in an awful spot. Got stopped at the absolute top tick before it hit my 2R target.

+.3R in HG. Undefined. 8pm buyer stepped in. Exited half of my position for a nice cushion. Thought I should hold but was trading my P/L instead of what the market was telling me.

-.5 in ES. Inverse. Unsure if this is a good trade as ES is it’s own animal and I’m not sure if my setups are really working on it.

Overall, way too many trades on a Sunday night when I should be focused on quick scalps if no real setups form.

AM: +1.1R in GC. Inverse. Layered entries because inverse wasn’t very clear. Only got filled 1 lot. Changed other entries and got full size with good stop loss area. Didn’t hold till planned 2R exit, which I would’ve gotten filled on.

+0.3R in GC. Kept on going down and then huge buyer stepped in on the tape so I bought with them. Not a well defined trade, definitely doesn’t fit with overall plan so I got out as soon as it went in my favor.

Almost a perfect week. Didn’t force any AM trades and was really patient with price coming to me. Very pleased with how I’ve bounced back from a terrible January and my resiliency. Also need to be aware that most weeks will not be this smooth and I can’t expect to have an 80% win rate over a large sample size.

Another simple, great day

AM: +1R in CL. Anticipated H1 SFP. 2x ATR on H1 + already up 4%. Due to bullish price action, I didn’t want to overstay and took profit quickly.

+1.8R in HG. Extremely strong level (5+touches), breaks out and inverse pattern. Should be risking more on this trade as it is A++.

Overnight: +.6R in HG. Huge buyer stepped in but it had already moved up quite a bit so I exited at first signs of trouble. Easy 2R trade if I was comfortable with risk.

AM: +1.8R in SI. SFP on 4H but I entered on 1H with improper stop size. Got lucky to average in and not get stopped out. Realize that there’s an inverse entry near my stop and wait for that.

+.6R in CL: Stop reversal at close after being down many days in a row

Really good day where I didn’t force anything. Stayed calm throughout and felt in control the entire time. I trade WAY better when my P/L is positive.I need to be able to feel this way and wait for setups no matter what my current P/L for the day is.
